Cleaning Requirement Elimination – Advanced Scientifics’ will ultimately be able to provide “filling sets” a disposable line integrated with volumetric metering system to eliminate any cleaning of stainless fill line. The sets would be supplied irradiation sterilized.

All that is needed is a laminar flow hood and the fixture itself. With few required pieces of equipment, the Advanced Scientifics’ filling fixture is easy and economical to implement.

Wide capability of bags sizes and fill volumes – The filler is limited by the fill fitment size and pump fill speed regarding practical bag sizes available for filling via this system. Although a 50 liter bag can be supplied for filling, customer may feel it impractical for time / fill times. With the ASI promoted Pump system the fill speeds are capable of about 5 liters per minute, making the machine capable and adequate for a 20 liter bag (4 minute fill)

Fill fitment can be utilized for a use fitment after fill – After fitting is filled and sealed. Fill fitting can be utilized for use. ASI can supply a tube set with Spike, or special valve, for use as a exit port. Additionally a typical Syringe can be used for adaption to the connector.
Bag can also be supplied with customer directed exit connections and tubing – In this scenario Fill fitting is utilized for filling only. The customer orders bag with tubing configuration with use option, tubing, and fitments.
